Frill Sweatshirts.

So, it is super cold today - but it is the midwest ...not surprised. My birthday is Monday (yay!) + last night I went into the city for a little pre-celebration with only a leather jacket in tow. NOT smart. I think I made a better selection today - haha.

First, lets talk about these jeans. I am absolutely loving all of the different types of denim selections out there. Loving all the raw hem, fringe, cropped flares -- I seriously can't stop buying denim. The ones I am wearing are from a Brand called Current Air, they are newly launched just in 2016. I have bought a few pairs now from them + I can't complain.

As for frill sweatshirts, they are my go-to version for a more comfy but chic version of the basic sweatshirt. With the right layering pieces they can totally be an outlet if you are looking for something a little more comfy to wear when you are headed out -- but still totally gives off a dressier vibe. Definitely one of my staple pieces. This one from Missguided has a bell sleeve appearance, is double layered + slightly cropped - I love it.

And -- as I have mentioned before in my other blog posts, I recently discovered a local fashion boutique - Ma Belle Avenue. They seriously have all the finishing pieces you need to complete an outfit. In every color. I can literally go in there + find all those key pieces I search for on a daily basis. This fur vest from there is so comfortable! It also has adjustable ties in the inside that allows you to make the vest more fitting. I love everything about it + it is super warm. Warmer than my leather jacket - for sure. Fashion fail.

Btw, these sunglasses are on sale right now for only $15 -- I linked them below!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Tomorrow is daylights saving - yipppeeee! I am having a girls day + grabbing lunch with my mom + mother-in-law for a birthday treat -- Rush is tagging along too :). What is everyone else up to this weekend?
