First week into the New Year + I am already so busy! The holiday season in general is always crazy + I really don't ever get much of a break between being a mom - running a wedding planning business + my blog, oh + I am launching a baby product line. *sigh* Vacation, please. On top of all of that, our entire household was sick + being sick really doesn't give you the best kind of break. However, it did allow me to put down the computer, take a forced time-out from social media + a little break form my business (slightly). One of my goals this year is to be more on top of my blogging + make it all cohesive with my other social media platforms. So, cheers to that!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I did a lot of shopping, who am I kidding I do a lot of shopping all the time -- but, I am really loving the floral trend that's happening everywhere. Embroidered, appliqués, prints... I am literally LOVING it all. One of my favorite local places to shop is my friends clothing store, Dane Vintage. She has the best collection of pretty much almost everything you see trending during fashion week + then some. She's curated, hands down, the best vintage clothing around. Anytime I am looking for something unique or one-of-a-kind, I can always count on her collection to take care of the job. I recently bought two floral tops from there, both very different. I'll blog about both looks, but this one is one of my favorites. This top is so comfy! It reminded me of the Valentino floral prints. At first I thought the all the colors would be too much, but paired with some dark skinny jeans + some pretty lace up flats, it was perfect. I could definitely dress this top up too with some leather or sequin bottoms + heels. Win-win!
